The City of Fort Worth Meter Services Section is seeking to hire a Field Services Representative responsible to respond to customer complaints and inquiries regarding water services or city-owned properties, read water meters for new and ongoing service and accurately record consumption, deliver delinquent notices, provide quality customer service and resolve customer concerns, conduct field inspections to determine contract compliance, perform a variety of technical duties in monitoring provider service contracts, ensure services provided are in compliance with contract specifications and perform a variety of technical tasks in support of the Meter Services section. Good customer service skills with extensive public contact required. Ability to operate 2-way radio required.
Skills / Requirements
High School Diploma or GED certificate PLUS two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in water meter repair, installation, or reading experience required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Shift Hours: 7:30 4:00 p.m.; this position may work nights and overtime, as needed.
Possession of a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record required.
