Captain Beech 99 Program Manager

The Ameriflight Training Department is seeking a Training Program Manager for the BE-99 fleet.  

Our Pathway Partners agree that Pilots with Leadership experience make the best candidates and continue to select our Captains with Leadership skills they have developed through Program Management, Check Airman Authority and Air Transport Instructor Certifications during their tenures at Ameriflight.  A position in our Training Department is an opportunity to gain valuable Leadership and Management experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct ground, simulator and flight training for new hire and transition pilots.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure Captain trainees meet the requirements of the Company and Part 135 single pilot IFR operations
  • Coordinate external training resources to meet demands of the Company's training schedule
  • Develop and revise curriculum to meet FAA and Company Standards
  • Manage program to Corporate goals
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Training

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must meet all FAR 135 requirements for PIC in IFR conditions and be qualified as an Ameriflight Line Captain.  ATP is preferred is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous flight training and/or management experience
  • Certified Flight Instructor, CFII and MEI required
  • 200 hours PIC in Be99, King Air or similar turbo-prop equipment 
  • One year as Part 121 or 135 Captain
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%

  • Must be an effective communicator and be comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Must be able to effectively present information to students and management
  • Must be able to respond to common inquiries from students, management and regulatory agencies
  • Must be able to read, write, analyze, and interpret common industry and technical and regulatory documents.
  • Must be familiar with MS Office suite, especially Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
