    The mission of Hooters is to “Make People Happy” and the General Manager (GM) is ultimately responsible for achieving this mission each and every day. The GM will recruit, coach and develop a motivated, upbeat and engaged restaurant team that embraces our SERVE Values and obsesses over Guest Happiness. Ultimately, the GM is accountable for creating working conditions that lead to an atmosphere instantly recognizable for its fun, positive energy, teamwork and Guest focus. For these reasons, the role of GM is the most important in the company.

    Success as a Hooters GM requires a personal commitment to consistently model the Company’s Values. The GM must be an excellent communicator and employ active listening skills. The GM will lead, teach and inspire a team in the pursuit of a common objective and must be comfortable on the floor interacting with Team Members and Guests.

    The GM is responsible for leading the day to day operations of the restaurant in an effective and efficient manner. Key areas of responsibility include; safety, financial stewardship, cleanliness, staffing and scheduling. The GM is accountable for ensuring adherence to company policies and standards, complying with all laws and regulations and administering corrective action consistent with company policy.

    Qualifications

    · High School Diploma/GED

    · People Management Experience in F & B.
