Description
Prepares financial reports for management use regarding the results of company operations by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepares reports which summarizes and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present and expected operations.

Prepares monthly and annual financial reporting to Parent Company.

Analyzes and consolidates budget data.

Assists in establishment and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Maintains accounting records which accurately represents the operation of the company.

Analyzes financial information pertaining to possible acquisitions.

Makes recommendations and assists in integration of accounting records of acquisitions.

Provides training to accounting personnel.

Prepares reports for governmental agencies.

Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.


Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Good written and oral communication skills. Skilled in Windows environment and Microsoft Excel software.
